September marks the end of summer and beginning of fall.

We thought we'd share some highlights from our summer:

George Mason University Group on our Public Health Program in Peru, May 2016

Typical Sunday market in the Peruvian highlands

We love finding native food species and learning about their medicinal and health benefits.

Check out maca if you haven't heard of it yet!

We were blessed to visit Machu Picchu for a fifth time!

Empanadas from our research tour to Argentina for a 2017 program

We may have enjoyed a bottle or two of Argentine wine.

V. Smiley of V. Smiley Preserves based in Bristol, VT, making one of her delicious honey-based jams. We did a photo shoot focused on local young food producers with our friend Rocket. Stay tuned for the video!

Homegrown carrots. First time!

Vermont dairy cow, Northeast Kingdom, Vermont, August 2016

And now we're on the road! We're exploring the west coast for the next few weeks then heading off to Australia and Guatemala... stay tuned!

Thanks for being a part of our story and please keep in touch

with any new ideas, photos, food stories and inspirations. For more photos of past trips  and to see what food experiments we're up to everyday, check out our instagram feed and facebook page.
