Thankful that Hurricane Michael only kissed us here in Tallahassee. The widespread damage was to the west and north of us.  With the help of donations from many of you, I took supplies over to neighboring counties in the days immediately after the storm.  It always take FEMA and other emergency agencies 5-7 days to get in place. Please continue to keep those affected by Michael in your thoughts and prayers. Those areas will take a very long time to recover.

Congratulations to Nancy Conley and Truly Unsurpassed

A horse who has lived up to her name! Truly Unsurpassed, AKA Calico, is a halter bred mare that has rocked the Western Dressage world. This pair represents what dressage is supposed to be about--- helping the horse to become the best athlete they can. She was awarded the Silver, Gold, and Supreme Champion Lifetime Achievement Awards at the beginning of the WDAA World Show in September. Calico is the first horse ever to be awarded these honors EVER! Calico and Nancy went on to win Reserve World Champion Level 3, Reserve Champion Freestyle, and World Champion Level 4 at the 2018 World Show.  I'm very proud of this team's achievements!  Nancy is who encouraged me to become more involved with WD.  I've enjoyed working with them over the years and look forward to many more!

Kay and Nadia, can't remember if this was their first or second time riding with me.  Notice the tension in the reins, arms, and horse. Kay tended to ride behind the movement, with a shoving seat. It's what tends to be taught! Ha!

Nadia is a lovely Friesian/Saddlebred mare. Her breeding will encourage the tight neck and low back. So if the rider rides with stiff arms and more hold on the reins than push forward in the body, guess what? More stiffness all the way around plus too speedy due to lack of balance.

Kay's assymmetry is also showing here, short right side, leaning in, Nadia overbent in the neck to the right.

Kay and Nadia earning their 2nd Level scores to qualify for Regionals. Notice how "soft" they both look. Look at the balance in that canter, with Kay right up over the mare correctly in balance. Don't be fooled by the softness, Kay is using her core and pushing forward nicely through her hands. The mare is nicely reached into the connection. I could pick on Kay to be slightly more thumbs up and hands slightly wider for an even better line to the mouth.

Kay decided not to show at regionals, thinking it would be better for her to spend the money on more lessons instead.  Sometimes that is the wiser decision.  People occasionally get so caught up in showing, earning the same scores over and over but not really making progress. It's important to have a balance there. If you have to err on something, better to do more lessons and less showing.

I plan to teach a bit less in 2019 than I have in 2018. I have a hard time saying no, and keep booking a tough schedule for myself.  I love you guys, the horses, and my job, that's why I have a hard time telling people no! But I need to cut back on my schedule just a little. At this point I'm booked through January, which is great! I'm not complaining about the business. I'm just a little worn around the edges again and need some time on the water to recoup.

I can't believe my skin looked sooooo bad!  This is really stretching my comfort zone to show this pic. This is straight from my phone, nothing done to it.  No make up.  I'm only 52 but my skin sure looked older!  Ugh!

I started with the Reverse regimen, then after 2 months, added the Redefine regimen. I alternate them still.  I want to work on the wrinkles as well as lightening the sun spots. It takes time, it's not an overnight thing. They offer so many fantastic products that truly work!

6 months of using R&F

I'm sold on it. The difference is amazing. No re-touching on this photo either. It's for real. Still not flawless but I have 50 years of sun damage to undo. I expect my skin will look even better next month! I am a consultant which means you can buy through me or sign up as a consultant with me.  It's not cheap, but the products work! All come with a 60 day money back guarantee. We horse girls are hard on our skin. It's time to take care of it!

Please feel free to call, text, or email me if you have any questions about R&F. 706-201-8940
