Tell "Education is a right we will not give up the fight"Part two continuation. Will You Join Us, Portland Parent Union , the Parents and Families, Your Constituents, Our Partners and Students, In a Trust Circle Focused on Community Building. Dialogues, Relationship Building, Panels, Skits and Mini Workshops. Families/students have questions for you! Please pass this on to your list and especially the Families. WE will talk about Counselors Not cops, Culture not Guns and Pushback Against Pushout. Through an awareness of intersectionality, which we can better acknowledge and ground the differences among us? Parents/families students would love for you to come to answer their questions in a dialogue, panel and workshop settings. We are forming a Trust Circle and inviting all who influence families and others in the communities to form a support coalition. How do we collaborate and become a community of care no matter what position we are in. One way is to build relationships and make commitments of support to each other. How do we take all that we are doing and put an hour or two each week, every other week or month to turn it into helping us to create a community of care. This means figuring out how we can support families especially those who could be on the path to failure. There are many who are doing their own thing to support the community. Come tell us how you are doing it. Please let PPU know if you can participate. |
