踏入2022年，又有新合作伙伴加入了，就是來自日本東京的帽子品牌Racal。Racal成立於2003年，一直以「你想佩戴的帽子」作整体設計理念。選用優質素材，由創立至今都一直在日本製作，是日本享負盛名的Hat Maker。

In 2022, another new partner has joined us — Racal, a hat-maker brand from Tokyo, Japan. Established in 2003, Racal has always been based on the design concept of "the hat you want to wear". Using high-quality materials, it has been produced in Japan since its establishment. It is a famous hat-maker in Japan.

今回由Modern Times與Racal合辦「2022年春夏新品展示會」，是Racal首度於日本國外舉行新品展示會，在Modern Times上環店中展覽全系列春夏新作，大家可以親身體驗Racal的精巧設計及優質素材。我們與Racal都相信，大家到時都可以找到「你想佩戴的帽子」。

This time, Modern Times and Racal co-organized the "Modern Times × Racal 2022 S/S Exhibition”. This is the first Racal new product show outside Japan. A full range of new spring / summer works will be displayed in Modern Times Sheung Wan store. You can experience Racal’s exquisite design as well as its high-quality materials. We believe everyone will find “the hat they want to wear” in this event.

“ヴィンテージ‧デニム大集合” (Vintage Denim大合集)

《VINTAGE DENIM》初版於2014年出版，是「Vintage Archive」系列其中一冊，專門介紹具有歷史價值的名作。 繼2019年增訂改版後，來到2022年，《VINTAGE DENIM EXTRA》修訂內容再度出版。這本特刊集合二十世紀時代誕生，以美國製牛仔服為中心。可以看到目前在日本流通的古着牛仔服各種趨勢。從當時佔主導地位的牛仔褲製造商、工作品牌、商店品牌及西方品牌等收集的牛仔服，都具有獨特的價值。我們亦擴大收集的復古牛仔服年份：從20世紀初以工作服為開發目的的牛仔服，到1990年代的時尚服飾，可以看到反映時代背景的牛仔產品變遷。「舊東西很棒。」當然，這樣的價值觀仍然存在，但現在多樣化已經成為普遍趨勢，新的價值正在前衛設計中創造出來。

“Vintage Denim Extra”

Published in 2014, "VINTAGE DENIM" is one of the "vintage archives" series targeting on products with material value. After the revised edition in 2019, "VINTAGE DENIM EXTRA" will be published as the 2022 edition. This book is a collection of products that were born in that era, focusing on vintage denim made in the United States. Therefore, you should be able to see various trends in vintage denim currently circulation in Japan. Vintage denim collected from jeans makers, work brands, store brands and western labels, etc., which were predominant at the time, all have the one and only value. We are also expanding the age of vintage denim we collect. From the beginning of the 20th century, when denim products were distributed as work wear, to the 1990s, when design was pursued as fashion, you can see the transition of denim products that reflect the background of the times. "Old is great." Of course, such values ​​still exist, but now that diversification has become universal, new value is being created in eccentric designs. Let's take a look at the "now" of vintage denim, whose depletion is accelerating year by year in the used market.
