The Garter Bar One-Day Workshop is this Sunday!  Learn how to use this tool to create garter stitches, darts, increases/decreases, and more.  We'll give you some tips and tricks to help you understand how to use this tool successfully!

We have back to back Machine Knitting Introductory Classes coming up on the last Saturday of April.  Sign up for one or both!

Don't forget if you've taken a particular class with The Knitting Studio and would like a refresher, we offer 1/2 price on class repeats!  All you have to do is send an ​email for a Repeat Request with the name of the class or workshop.  (excludes lessons online & private lessons)

We've had several different requests for workshops and classes.  These are a couple of them coming up in May and June!

In the Ribbed Stitches Workshop Weekend you'll learn more about the ribber attachment and what it can do.  We'll cover several techniques, and stitches including Pin Tucks, Racking, and more!

In the Raglan Sweater Workshop you'll machine knit either a cardigan or jumper style sweater. We'll use fully fashioned increases and decreases to get the right fit for your sweater in the body, and for raglan shape.

The Knitting Studio will be at SewGreen@Rochester for a machine knitting demo on Saturday, May 19th from 11am - 1pm!  We also heard that there may be a cone yarn sale there this Saturday, April 14th.  Be sure to check it out!

Stop by SewGreen to see the knitting machine in action!  There will be demonstrations in lace carriage knitting, fair isle, and tuck, as well as hand manipulated stitches.  Trudy will also be there with her antique sock knitting machine!
