CHECK OUT WHAT OUR PARTNERS ARE UP TO!

Sparks, NV– Sections of the Truckee River bike trail on the west side of Cottonwood Park to the McCarran Bridge will be closed from September 6-12 for a rehabilitation project.

The existing path, primarily used by joggers and bicyclists, will be grinded, repaved and widened to 10 feet. As part of the city of Sparks’ Capital Improvement Plan, approximately $100,000 is set aside annually to improve or maintain bike paths each year.

Reno License Plate

Show your Reno pride with a Reno license plate. Every plate purchased helps support Parks and Recreation programs in our City.

But hurry! 496 more plates need to be sold by the end of 2017 to provide continued funding to Parks and Recreation programs.

Schedule an appointment online. It's quick, easy and the best way to get your plate. Remember, you don't have to wait for your plates to expire. Get yours today!

Barbara Bennett Park Renovation

Reno will replace the playground and safety surface at Barbara Bennett Park

in 2018 and the City is seeking public input on the type of play structure to install.

The survey will be open until September 8.

Biggest Little Dog Park

Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation is partnering with the Biggest Little Dog Park Coalition and the City of Reno to help revitalize the Re-trac in downtown Reno. The City has kindly budgeted $75,000 to this park, but we still need to raise $125,000 to make this park a reality.
