We are turning the reigns over to her creative hands for the entire month - featuring her new series, Constellation, weekend gatherings and a ceiling installation. She has fun stuff in store for you! I use fiber art as a way of seeing things anew through thread. The child of an antiques dealer I have always been surrounded by the decorative and home arts, and it makes sense to me to combine the intent of artistic statement with the beauty and tradition that preceded it. As an artist and feminist, the reclaiming of needle and thread fascinates me.
