Summer 2015 was awesome! We served 143 campers (our most ever) and trained and supervised 130 staff who accumulated 8,486 volunteer hours! To serve working parents better, we started YakCare Extended Care to offer before and after camp childcare. The Junior Camp Counselor (JCC) program for adolescents with special needs focusing on leadership skills. Wow! We look forward to another year of service and laughter!

for campers with special needs and neurotypical siblings ages 5-15
for adolescents with special needs (age 12-15) who are still growing in social skills and need adult guidance to work as a team and complete leadership projects. Join the JCCs!
Come connect with other siblings who also have a brother or sister with special needs. This program has been enhanced to include a daily discussion group, special activities and daily notes home about the day's topic.
