Welcome to Jill's Place monthly newsletter! Instead of the planned Anniversary edition, I would like to dedicate this month's newsletter to the U of L Cardinals (postponing the Anniversary edition until March). You don't have to be a U of L (or even a sports) fan to feel this team's pain in light of the recent self-imposed post-season ban that has/will essentially wreaked havoc on many of these young mens lives through absolutely no fault of their own. With that and everything else that has been said in the media, newspapers, radio, etc. on this topic, I personally have only one other thing to say.... |

FREE COFFEE For the rest of the month of February, Jill's Place will give a free cup of coffee to anyone who tells me (or whoever else is at the counter) that they have the Cards back when they bring their coffee to the register. We'll also be taking pictures of our "I've got your back" poster with anyone willing to participate, to be used in a picture collage to appear in the March newsletter (as well as be posted on Facebook, displayed in the Cafe, and maybe even given to the team, if I can make that happen). So head on over to the Cafe and show your support for these boys! Go Cards! |

GAME PARTY Sadly, Saturday, March 5, 2016 is the Cards last game of the season. The time of the game has yet to be announced, but whatever time it is, the Cafe will be having a Game Day party with complimentary snacks/desserts (while they last). We'll have all three TV's tuned in to the game with plenty of comfortable seating, so come on out and help us celebrate this great team with other U of L fans! If you plan to attend, you MUST email me your name to be put on the free entry list. Stay tuned to the Website/Facebook Page for further updates. |

CALLING ALL CARDS FANS! We all know there's a ton of information out there about all things CardNation, but who wants to weed through all that when you can go to one place to keep up with everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! Check out Cardinal Sports Zone (both their website AND Facebook page) and you'll never be uninformed again! |

You'll also want to check out their radio show on 93.9 The Ville which airs every Saturday morning from 10 - 11 a.m. It's a great show and they have fantastic guests. You can take a listen to any of their previous shows on the link below.
