Making pillows has been a popular activity at SewGreen@ROC since we opened, but few have been as large as Samantha's! She's on the right in the photo, with a giant pillow covered with basketballs she made for a young family member. And in a recent Kids' Sewing Club, Elizabeth (left) made a football-shaped pillow in Dallas Cowboy colors, and her sister Tracy (center) made a pillow shaped like a cookie, with a larger pillow for it to sit upon! |

Thank you, Susan B crocheters! |

The giant crocheted mural was removed from our building on Sunday, May 28. We were sad to see her go! She brought many interesting people to our Susan B. Anthony neighborhood and into our shop. We continue to be grateful for the opportunity to host her and to help coordinate the effort to make this project happen. You can continue to follow Olek's Love Across the USA project at the website loveacrosstheusa.com. Thanks so much to all who helped make this happen! Susan B. photo credit: Josefina Calzada |
