Jaime “Jimmy” Bonilla, was born in East Chicago, Indiana, and raised in the beautiful town of Coamo, Puerto Rico. As a young child, he demonstrated traits of a talented musician and then joined the José I. Quinton Municipal Band (Same music school Bobby Valentín and Willie Rosario attended), in which he distinguished himself as a flute player & vocals. After being background vocalist for numerous tropical salsa bands, Jimmy decided to make his own orchestra and place his unique voice. He has released his own CD titled “Inicios” which means "Beginnings" in June 2016. This recording is definitely for all the Salsa lovers of the world.

Inicios, el debut del vocalista Jaime Antonio Bonilla Santiago mejor conocido como Jimmy Bonilla, aparece este 2016 como produccion independiente para su sello JB Records. Aunque nacido en East Chicago, Indiana, Bonilla fue criado en la población Coamo, Puerto Rico, y estuvo sirviendo varios años en Alemania para el ejercito estadounidense. Bonilla supo aprovechar bien el tiempo y sus momentos, y mientras trabajaba como DJ se convirtito en un reconocido empresario que llevo al Viejo Continente a varias artistas como El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Gilberto Santa Rosa, La Sonora Ponceña, Andy Montañez, Frankie Ruiz, Paquito Guzmán, Las Chicas del Can, Oscar D’ León y Tito Rojas entre otros.
