Purchase our LIMITED EDITION STEIN!

Check these out! We are selling only 300 Steins to help fund the expenses incurred on Custom Canines to raise, train and place service dogs to disabled individuals at no cost to them. These commemorative and collectible steins are available for a very limited time! The quality is amazing! I've always dreamed of having our logo on a piece of pottery like this. At least take a peek! And please, "share" with your friends and family.  On behalf of all of the clients we serve, and our incredible, volunteer staff, I thank you!  Each Stein is individually created by Jessie Voss an Artisan in Mukwonago, WI.

Her studio inhabits an old warehouse in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, where each piece is lovingly pressed, shaped, fired and painted in luminous mix-and-match hues.

A portion of each stein helps with the maintenance of our service dogs.   Our dogs need food, medical care, licensing, micro-chipping, kennels, collars and leashes. 

​

Although we have volunteers that offer their homes and time, we still need these items to continue to be able to give our dogs away for Free.

Custom Canines Owner Trainer Academy

Is excited to announce the launch of a new program 

Custom Canines Owner Trainer Academy (CCOTA)! CCOTA was developed to offer structured, individualized curriculum, instruction, coaching, mentoring and support

for individuals with disabilities who wish to train their

own service dog.

Classes will be held the 2nd and 4th Saturday's

of each Month

CONGRATULATIONS to the first FIVE graduates from the Custom Canines Owner Trainer Academy! These grads have worked so hard to earn their patches, with combined training hours totaling over 1700 hours!

Also, FOUR CCOTA trainers past the Canine Good Citizen testing today - a benchmark for their pups in training.  We are SO PROUD of these handlers and wish them the very best on their journeys together as working service dog teams.

A Story About our SPECIAL Veteran

Bob Wendler

In 1968, Bob enlisted in the US Navy and was then deployed to Vietnam as a century K9 handler. Otto, his German Shepherd, had Bob's back during their years of deployment together. When it came time for Bob to return home to the country he selflessly protected with his K9 partner, he learned that military K9s were not allowed to return to the states with their soldiers. Back then, dogs in the military were viewed as equipment, which usually was destroyed or disposed of. Bob was forced to hand Otto over the Vietnamese. How tragic this had to have been for both of them.

Community Holiday Vendor Fair

Bringing together local craftsman, crafters, independent consultants, and holiday vendors to make your shopping season easier! Each vendor will have inventory of cash and carry products to help you get a headstart on your holiday shopping. Independent consultants from various direct sales companies will also have cash/carry, order, personalize, and ship options available to take all the stress out of shopping for those on your list that aren't the easiest to shop for! Shopping will begin at 10 AM and go until approximately 3:30 PM.

WANTED: Puppy Raisers 

There’s nothing like puppy breath, puppy kisses and puppy love! Custom Canines is currently looking for volunteers to welcome these little balls of energy into their homes. You will be responsible for loving, socializing and teaching basic obedience to your young charge according to CCSDA standards.We support all our Puppy Raisers all along the way, helping them teach their young puppies!  Puppy Raisers must be at least 14 years of age with parental involvement and support. The adult is the responsible party.

Puppy Raisers must have a car, or have immediate access to transportation, in order to transport the puppy in an emergency.

Puppy Raisers must agree to house the puppy indoors.

Puppy Raisers must agree to socialize, obedience train, and housebreak the puppy.
