Don’t forget to register your child for Nosoca Pines Ranch summer camp. Nosoca provides campers with a week filled with fun times, learning opportunities, and ways to become even better connected with Jesus. Whether you love acro, drama, crafts, horses, sports or swimming, Nosoca has it all! Be sure to check out their website www.nosoca.org and register your child for the camp that best suits them. Nosoca does have a cost, but it will definitely be worth it!

From VBS to VBX

This year, Vacation Bible School is transitioning to Vacation Bible Xperience or VBX. This change has been made because the church doesn’t want kids to think that this week is going to be just like school -- they want them to get excited about truly experiencing Jesus! This year’s theme is “Kidsville: Where Jesus Loves Others Through You!” Each evening at Vacation Bible Xperience kids will be learning what it means for Jesus to love them and then to show that love to others. If there is a VBX near you, make sure to bring your children, and don’t be shy to sign up as a volunteer as well!

Transitioning to Google Calendar

Using Google calendar is a great way to easily stay connected as a group and a church. By creating a Google calendar you can include events with the time, location and description. A great feature is that all of your church members will be able to access this calendar. Google calendar is very easy to insert into your church’s website and it is very simple to use. Many web-based calendars do not work with all websites and become complicated when you try to share events with others.

Church members can also download your church’s Google calendar to their phone, tablet or computer. Then, whenever you add an event, everyone’s calendar will update. Members can choose a special color for the church calendar in order to know which events are related to the church and which are personal.

We encourage you to use this amazing, free online feature so that your church can become even more connected.  The video below should answer any questions you might have.
