Highlights From oVc's 1st Annual Open House

Thanks to everyone for stopping by oVc's open house and farewell

party for Mike!

Despite an iffy start to the day weather-wise, the sun managed to break through the clouds just as the party was getting started. SYM Canada was on hand to provide some cool demo rides and Kevin manned the Bar-B-Que like a pro. We had a fun day test riding different machines and hanging out with some very cool people.

Oh, and burgers. We ate lots of burgers.

For those that could not make the trip to Acton to partake in our little send off for Mike, here are some highlights.

The day started early with SYM Canada's Mike Wells getting the demo rides available. SYM provided two Symbas, a Mio 50, an HD200, and a Citycom 300i.

Hoodlum Ken does a burnout on a Symba as he prepares to lead a ride. Drive it like ya stole it (or borrowed it) eh, Ken?

Mike was quick to volunteer as chauffeur for the ladies.

This relatively rare Ural Wolf drew lots of attention when it rolled into the parking lot. What a lovely machine!

oVc's webmaster and avowed scooter trash prepares to take the SYM HD 200 for a little blast through the Halton Hills. Note the stylish and highly-protective gear - Port Dover Friday the 13th  t-shirt, denim shorts, and skateboard shoes - yup - good to go!

Kevin and Mike take The Green Bastard for a little test ride. Next weekend Ken will be proudly representing oVc at the Mad Bastard Rally in support of Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Guelph.

While everyone had a great time, there was a tinge of sadness with the realization that Mike's official leaving is now less than two weeks away!

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and as Mike prepares for his next great adventure, oVc's staff and customers wish him all the best.

So long, Mike and good luck!
