oVc Chronicles - Spring 2015

Welcome

Hello and thank you for joining the Old Vintage Cranks Chronicles Newsletter. This is our inaugural edition and we will publish at least once a quarter to provide you with an update of all the goings-on at the oVc headquarters in Acton. If you’ve never had the chance to visit our location, consider this your official invitation to stop by, have a coffee, and chat motorcycles.

Here’s wishing everyone a great 2015 riding year.

Cheers;

The oVc Gang

Latest News and Updates

Wow. After one of the longest and coldest Winter’s in recent memory, it finally appears that warmer weather is not that far off. At oVc we’ve been busy getting everything ready for the new riding season and encourage you to drop by the shop to see all the changes we’ve put in place over the winter.

While the winter months are typically slower than the riding months, it was non-stop at our little shop. As you no-doubt know, we launched a completely revamped website in February. There is still much to do on the site but hopefully even this first phase is easier to navigate. Plans for the next release include additional features such as an online accessories store.

Mike had a very busy winter rebuilding a couple of rigs that have since been sold to their happy new owners. He also completed several sidecar projects over the winter and as of the time of writing this update, he is just wrapping up the mating of a Heritage Softail Classic and a Texas Rangers sidecar. Next on his action plan is bringing together this Triumph Bonnie and this exquisitely beautiful Cozi sidecar:

Even with all this activity, we have even bigger news – oVc is now an official dealer for both Champion Trikes and Lehman Trikes! These amazing conversion kits are designed to convert most styles of cruiser into an incredible looking three-wheeler. Don’t confuse these engineering marvels with a simple bolt-on or outrigger system – these kits convert your bike’s rear wheel to an integrated two-wheel drive system and are guaranteed to provide years of trouble-free service.

2015 Ural and Royal Enfields Arriving in April

Our new 2015 Ural and Royal Enfields are due to arrive in the next few weeks and should be in the showroom by mid-to-late April.

New from Ural this year is the cT and with an MSRP of just $15,499, the cT is the lowest cost way to get into the Ural lifestyle! Available in Terracotta or Gloss Grey, the cT is one slick looking rig and we will be getting one in each colour.

We also have a 2015 Grey Asphalt Gear Up on order.

We still have a few new, old stock Urals available at a discount to the 2015 models. We have a new 2014 Limited Edition Gaucho in Pacific Blue, a new 2013 Patrol in blue with white stripes, and a black 2014 Tourist. These are the last of the carbureted models and can be had at great deals for a limited time!

If you’re looking to save even more, we also have a lightly-used 2013 2WD Patrol with less than 2,500 kms in black with silver stripes. This little beauty is loaded with optional accessories including a tachometer, gas can, windscreen, leg guards, and heated grips with bar ends. Asking $13,725 plus taxes and fees.

Royal Enfield Update

The first batch of our 2015 Royal Enfields are expected any day now and this year we managed to get our hands on more of the uber-popular GT Continentals. The best bang-for-the-buck cafe racer direct from the manufacturer, the GT Continental has been a phenomenon since being added to the Royal Enfield line up last year. We have two red GT Continentals on order that are not yet spoken for so act quickly to reserve yours to avoid disappointment!

In addition to the GTs we also have two Bullet 500s in black, 3 Classic Chromes in black and chrome, and 1 black Classic all due to arrive with the two Continental GTs.

We also have three new previous year models available that we are offering at a fantastic saving. We have a 2013 silver Electra at $5,625 plus taxes and fees, as well as a 2013 Chrome Classic at $6,350 compared to $6,715 for a 2015, and a 2014 Classic 500 at $6,300 compared to $6,560 for a comparable 2015 model. Please note that taxes and fees are extra for all prices listed above.

Scooters

As always, we also have a selection of SYM and Kymco scooters and motorcycles from which to choose. Whether you are looking for a low-cost, economical commuter or a little runabout bike, stop by to see what we have in stock. From 50cc on up to 500cc, we have the machine for you?

Until the next issue later this Spring, enjoy the coming warmer weather and we hope to see you at the shop soon!
