Christmas Newsletter

The festive season is now well and truly upon us, and at this time of year it is more important than ever to remember those who won't be able to celebrate. Whether through loss, illness, or means, this can be a very difficult time of year. At the James Ahern Foundation, we are doing everything we can to help, please help us. Thank you.

Facebook and Twitter!

The Foundation has now launched a Facebook page and Twitter account. This is proving to be a great way to share information daily about what is happening, which causes to support, or to just keep in touch.

A recent example is the collection of photos of candles that people have lit as part of the Compassionate Friends campaign on 14 December. Visit the page to see the photos.

With the generous help of the Foundation's sponsors, we are also running a competition over the holidays for the best or most imaginative "Jamie kiss"! Again, visit the Facebook page for more details, the post is from 20 December. If you or your company, employer, school or whatever,  are interested in becoming a sponsor of the Foundation (you get your logo and link on the website homepage!) just get in touch.

Please like the page, follow us on Twitter, share and help!

First Foundation help already given

Thanks to your generous assistance, we have already been able to make small donations to other causes, in line with the aims of the Foundation.

As part of the Big Christmas Give charity campaign, donations of £100 each were made to the Road Victims Trust and Toynbee Hall (they aid disadvantaged children and as part of their work they visit Jamie's Farm!). These were matched as part of the campaign.

Thank you for your support, have a peaceful and safe festive holiday
