How Can I Get More Vitamin D
Vitamin D is manufactured by exposing your bare skin to the sun. That just seems shocking in the days of spray sunscreen, etc. But it seems we need roughly 15 minutes of time in the sun bare skinned to make enough vitamin D.
This is a VERY slippery slope. You don't want to burn and subject your skin to potential changes and skin cancers but the need for vitamin D is also very important. Vitamin D helps to promote bone growth but when you are deficient that has some very scary consequences.
