Climate Kids Traveling Trunks Now Available Our brand new Climate Kids Traveling Trunks are available for educators! Each of our trunks provide all the resources needed to teach climate science in the classroom. Tribal Story Map Brings Summit Content to Life The 2017 Southwest Tribal Climate Change Summit held in September provided environmental professionals from regional tribes and other organizations an opportunity to meet and discuss strategies to respond to current policies, regulatory initiatives, and technical topics in responding to climate change impacts. Working Groups Going Strong We hosted an all-alliance business meeting in December to celebrate a year of achievements and strategize for the new year. In January, we hit the ground running with a Blue and Orange Working Group Meeting focused on the San Diego Climate Summit and the Green team will meet on Feb 12th to discuss traveling trunk and collaborative outreach opportunities. | | |

Role of Art in Ocean Advocacy On March 1, CSA - South Coast Director Amber Pairis will join representatives from Net Impact GPS and the EcoArts Foundation at UC San Diego to present Philadelphia's glacier melt artist Diane Burko, who has recently been moved to take up the subject of coral reef mortality. "Art of Change" in Imperial Beach Our traveling art show will be in the Imperial Beach Library during February and March. New artwork from Climate Kids - Mexico will be featured as well as a Scavanger Hunt where kids can participate to win a Climate Kids coloring book! | | |
