Greetings from the Military Outreach Center, and welcome to our very first newsletter, the 'MOC Monthly'.  Our goal is to connect you to resources on and off campus and to provide you with the most up-to-date information concerning your status as a military-connected student.

Please remember to complete the G-Verify process before the following deadlines to avoid any delays in G.I. Bill payments. If using VA benefits, you must G-Verify EVERY semester.

NEWS

The GSU and Perimeter college merger expanded the resources available for military connected students .  In addition to having Military Student Advocates on all five Perimeter College campuses, the Military Outreach Center increased the number of staff and implemented new programs at the GSU Atlanta campus (234 Sparks Hall).

The Peer Advisors for Veterans Education (PAVE) program is a new initiative that pairs new student veterans with current veterans to help ease the transition to academic life. GSU is the only school in the state of Georgia to include this program. To learn more about PAVE, click on the following link: paveoncampus.org/about-pave or contact   Mark Eister at meister@gsu.edu.
