NEWSLETTER #3      September 2016

One of the focuses of “Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue” is fostering regional cooperation and promoting activism and youth participation. This summer, youngsters from the five participating countries have actively been part of activities which promoted these values. Through cooperation, the Youth Engagement Workers created a video about youth for the World Youth Day and wrote about topics such as education and youth mobility. In addition to that, LDA Kosovo presented the platform at a conference about volunteerism and interviewed Stella Gelmini from InCo Association. Within the Regional research for youth mobility, all the LDAs organized focus groups, promoted a survey               (still on-going) and much more…

If you are a young person aged 15 to 30 living, studying or working in a Western Balkan country - your experience matters!!!

As part of the Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, ALDA and the 8 Local Democracy Agencies from 5 Balkan countries are conducting a regional research related to youth mobility in the Balkan region. The research is planned as a comparative study designed to analyse all aspects of youth mobility in small communities of the region.

If you are wondering what  mobility IS: it is the possibility for an individual, a group or social strata to move and make choices in terms of residence, career or availability of resources.

Part of the research is an online survey that will provide observations on youth mobility opportunities in local communities of the Balkan region. Young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo* are invited to fill out this questionnaire. Use this opportunity and MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
