There are several activities and programs happening throughout December!

The library will be closed on December 25th for Christmas. We will also be closing early on December 24th and 31st. 

Throughout the month we will have our Stocking Stuffer Book Sale! Come and buy some books or VHS tapes to put in your stockings this year. We have a wide variety of book perfect for any age. 

We will also have a Teen Winter Reading challenge! Come in and grab a bingo sheet. Once you have a bingo, bring your sheet into the library and enter your name for a chance to win a special prize!

Ugly Sweater Contest!!! The library will host an ugly sweater contest. Come into the library with your ugly sweater the entire month of December and be entered to win a special prize!!

Parents and Children are invited to our first Christmas Storytime! Come to the library on December 10 at 6:30 p.m. to listen to some Christmas stories and get a present from Santa! 

The Library will also host a Polar Express reading! Come and get your ticket for the Santa Express! December 13th and December 20th we will have a special guest come to read the Polar Express. At the end of the ride everyone will receive some cookies and hot chocolate. Kids will also get a special present from Santa. Tickets will be $7 per person with a limit of 25 people per night. Don't miss out on your chance to ride the Santa Express!

We have Storytime on Thursday morning at 10:30 on December 6th and December 20th. Winter and Christmas will be the theme for these programs. The crafts for this month include: 1. a snowman & wreath 2. a Santa bucket

Come to the library on December 17th at 7pm for our first Cookie Swap! Bring in 6 dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies and trade with each other!

Come to the Franklin Public Library on December 28th for our first ever teen lock-in! There will be plenty of games, food, friends, and fun! Our lock-in will start at 7pm and will go until 7am! Make sure to sign up ahead of time. Will you take on the challenge of spending a night in the library? 

Anime Club will meet on December 4th at 4 pm
