The Dollar Club The Dollar Club was a new initiative that was rolled out this year at Camp Meeting. Our Conference, through the Generous Living Team, wanted to impact the local area of Waynesville, NC, during the week of Camp Meeting (other than depleting their grocery stores of haystack ingredients). Dollars were collected during the first part of the week, then used for outreach. Click the button below to watch the results. We encourage your church to consider initiating your own chapter of The Dollar Club. | | |

Less Clutter. Less Noise. In Church Communication |

The video above is an interview with Kem Meyer, a former Wall Street public relations expert turned church communiation director for a mega church and consultant for church communicators. Since Kem's first book (Less Clutter. Less Noise.: Beyond Bulletins, Brochures and Bake Sales) came out, she has revised it and released it under a slightly different title: Less Chaos. Less Noise.: Effective Communications for an Effective Church. Kem's advice comes from years of experience both in corporate America and working for the church. Kem also does church communication audits. She can come to a church and evaluate the communiation that is taking place and help the church come up with a plan of how they can improve. This comes at a price, which is not listed on her personal website: www.kemmeyer.com. As church communicators, we cannot keep doing the same thing just because that is how it has always been done. We need to reevaluate the effectiveness of what we are doing and see how it can be improved. We highly recommend this book because of Kem's practical and accessible advice. |

This year, the retreat will take place the weekend of August 18-20. Your new members will not want to miss the messages from our guest speaker, the outdoor activies and the fellowship. There will also be programing for both children and youth. Registration is required by July 31, 2017. |
