Spring is on its way - yay!

15 March 2017

What a beautiful day!  Today I have indulged in elevenses in my little garden suntrap and had a lovely walk on the beach with the pup.  But not everyone looks forward to Spring - hayfever can ruin sunny days for some....  Some info on how homeopathy can help.  And some ideas for you to spoil mum for Mother's Day.

Focus on... Hayfever

For some the start of Spring is far from a happy time and brings dread to the otherwise sunny months. It could be pure hell to lie outdoors on the grass, or to take a walk in the countryside.

About 20% of the population may suffer the condition, severity tending to peak in the 20s.

And so hayfever sufferers either dose themselves up on over the counter medication and perhaps suffer with drowsiness or other side effects or they may isolate themselves from the dreaded outdoors and remove themselves from as many potential triggers in the environment as possible.

And homeopathy can help in two ways. Firstly by treating the acute symptoms during the season, i.e. helping the sufferer to naturally treat the sneezing, burning eyes or whatever the symptoms may be.  With homeopathy we can also treat your susceptibility to hayfever and within a few years you may be free of hayfever completely.

Get in touch with me if you want to pursue homeopathy to tackle your hayfever this year and enjoy the sun and outdoors!

Mother's Day is around the corner!

I have loads of ideas for you to really spoil her!

I have delicious Neal's Yard Remedies products in stock and can help you put a package or gift set together for her.

Or treat her with a gift voucher for her choice of therapy in my cosy therapy room in Mengham on Hayling Island.

My indulgent 90 minute Super Sessions are particularly popular.  Mum could choose from:

 - Super Bliss Session: Combination Indian head and natural facelift massage with Reiki

 - Super Soother Session: Combination full body Swedish massage followed by Indian head massage

 - Super Zen Session: Combination full body Swedish massage finished off with Reiki

 - Super Smoother Session: Combination full body Swedish massage with natural facelift massage

Neal's Yard products and vouchers can be bought from me in person and vouchers can also be sent in the post.

Expectant mums also deserve to be treated...

Pregnancy is such a special time in a woman's life and it is important for the expectant mum to feel nurtured as she prepares herself for the birth of her baby.

And it is such a privilege to work with mums-to-be as I have in the past with Reiki and homeopathy.

Massage during pregnancy can be a wonderful way to help to alleviate many of the symptoms and conditions associated with pregnancy. Regular sessions can help with backache, swollen ankles, aching muscles, fatigue, breast soreness, heartburn and more.  It can help you to feel more connected with your baby.

It can also help mum to deal with the emotional stresses, such as concern for the baby's health, your changing body image and just coping with the day to day challenges. During this amazing time of physical and emotional change, massage can be of enormous benefit to both mother and baby.

I use Neal's Yard Remedies nourishing Mother's Balm in my massage sessions to nourish and help to guard against stretch marks.

And while we're on the subject of pampering and looking after yourself, a TheraParty in the comfort of your own home is the perfect way to unwind with friends.
