Monday, February 27 Cure the Monday morning blues with The Pout-Pout Fish at the St. Pete Main Library! This free puppet show will be performed by the Junior League of St. Petersburg beginning at 10:30am. After school, children in grades K-5 and their caregivers are invited to Science Club at Gulfport Public Library for hands-on experiments and activities. Thursday, March 2 It's Mother Goose Story Time at St. Pete Beach Public Library! Stories, songs and fun for children under 3 begin at 11am. Is your child an artist in training? Let them tap into their creative side and enjoy step-by-step instruction from local artist Terry Lou Ritchie at Pint Size Picasso at St. Pete Beach Recreation Center. Friday, March 3 Continue the celebration and laissez les bons temps rouler at Highland Recreation Complex. A special Mardi Gras-themed Preschool Party begins at 10am. Cost is $5 before February 27 and $8 after for crafts, games and snacks. Save the date! Tonight is the first night of Movies in the Park at Largo Central Park. The Angry Birds Movie starts at 7pm.
