People At Work  Alternate Resources attended the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference in June.  While highlights widely shared focused on important hospitality investment concerns, the conference started and ended with some commentary on the most important concern not widely shared:  People.  Read more in "People on People:  Highlights from NYU".

People and Team Work  We continue to meet the design and purchasing needs of a wide range of hospitality clients working with great people as part of successful project teams.  Marriott, Choice, Hilton, Starwood brand hotels and an independent boutique hotel are all projects we add to our portfolio of new business this quarter.  Each bring the need to participate on a team and collaborate to maximize the talent of others and achieve project and client goals. As always, a Principal of Alternate Resources is hands-on with every project regardless of size.

Interesting People in Works  Summer travel discovery out of Lewiston, ME highlights a very people focused approach: Eric Agren, owner of Fuel restaurant, will give the winner of an essay contest the business, a condo and $20,000 in cash.  All in an effort to find "just the right person" to take over his business.  Check it out and enjoy your summer!
