Come, join us out on our sidewalk this summer for Kids Sew Together! Every Tuesday and Wednesday in July and August from 2 to 4 p.m., we welcome kids 5 years-old and up to learn with us how to felt, sew, embroider, weave, crochet, knit, make jewelry, and more! There's no need to sign up. We will provide a healthy snack and lots of fun! For free! Come, spend an afternoon under our sidewalk tent with us! Volunteers Needed! Beautiful Handbags with Beautiful Josefina Will Be back Thursday, August 4 Josefina is taking a little break from SewGreen@Rochester, but ... Not to worry! She will return, Thursday, August 4, to teach her Beautiful Handbags class from 4 to 6 p.m. And she will be here every Thursday in August! In the meantime, we will continue to stockpile beautiful upholstery fabric scraps for her to use with you! |

Sign up now for two weeks of fun, Monday July 25 through Friday August 5. Our shop will be hopping with campers creating marionettes! Tom Bohrer, 19th Ward neighbor and master puppeteer, will teach us every morning those two weeks from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday, July 29, will be an optional day for any campers who would like to spend extra time on their creations. On Friday, August 5, Marionette Camp ends with a Puppet Show! If you want a place at the marionette table, spaces are limited! So sign up today! Ages 10 & up. Cost of class and materials, $50. Call 585-328-2642 or email info@sewgreenrochester.org today! Stitchin' on the Sidewalk Saturdays!
Every fair-weather Saturday this summer, we will be out on our sidewalk from 2 to 5 p.m., with the tent up and the treadle sewing machine out. Join us for a few minutes or a few hours, as we create in the great outdoors! Street parking is usually plentiful on Arnett Boulevard, and on our adjacent side Avenues, Kenwood and Wellington. Look for our tent, and stop in for a while! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or whatever needlework makes your heart sing, or just stop by to visit with us. We'd love to spend time with you! |
