Spring Half Term theme: ‘Space’ In small adult led groups, we spoke about the Solar System, discussing the names of the planets, their distinctive colours, their size and the distance in relation to each other, Earth and the sun. This activity was a great opportunity for the children to share their own knowledge

Staff Changes David is now the Key Worker for ‘Rabbits’ and he is very much looking forward to his new role. We also have three new additions to the team Nancy, Oana & Tom

Forest School It has been a very cold Spring Term so far, requiring the children to wrap up in plenty of warm layers to allow them to experience the seasonal changes and winter weather. It has been very rewarding to observe how, despite the cold, the majority of children have remained |
the majority of children have remainedresilient and extremely enthusiastic about attending and enjoying Forest School sessions. Much to the children’s excitement, we have made the most of the opportunity to indulge in a mug of hot chocolate with our snack every week. |
... a pre-built den is provided each week too, containing fleece blankets and story books, offering a little warm sanctuary for those that need it (even extending to a foot rub when required!). The current stories being enjoyed are; a pop-up book of Woodland Animals, The Gruffalo and The Stickman.

Dinosaurs As we enter the second half of the Spring Term, we introduce our new theme which will be based on ‘Dinosaurs’. We have many creative and thought provoking activities lined up, which include - discussions about the environment where dinosaurs lived and what they ate, comparing their sizes and how they moved, creating ‘Dino Masks’ and making our very own dinosaurs with their own unique names. There is already a lot of excitement expressed about this new subject from the children, so, once again, it looks set to be a really great focus which will engage and delight one and all.
