I then went on to train in Reiki which was my grounding for the body work I do today.  This also strengthened the supportive role that I have to play as a therapist, whether it is just making you feel comfortable in the room or taking things deeper and helping you to explore your emotions.

During your First Degree we will focus on the general principles of Reiki and learn about the history and roots. On a practical level, you will also be taught how to give a treatment, firstly to yourself and secondly to other people.

I am considering running a Reiki level one workshop next Wednesday, 24th October at my home in Mengham on Hayling Island.  I only take two learners for this special day so do let me know if you are interested. 

I also run a workshop on how to use homeopathy in your own home to treat first aid and acute situations.  If you would you like to find out more about homeopathy and how it can help you and your family then just get in touch to arrange a date for my two and a half hour workshop.  During this interactive session you will learn how to use homeopathy to treat minor ailments, illnesses and first aid situations within the family.

And a friend is having her first baby next month (I'm godmother!) and has asked me to prepare a homeopathy cribsheet for her to get her through her labour.  I will in future be able to provide this to all mums-to-be along with the loan of a homeopathy kit so that you will have all the remedies you'll need at your disposal.

The first person ignored my email highlighting my cancellation and deposit policies and did not have the courtesy to let me know that she had no intention of coming to her session.

This on top of numerous cancellations every week for the last few months really impacts on my ability to run my business and, as I'm sure you can understand, has a huge impact on my mood too!  I work very hard for my clients and I love spending time with you. Please give me the courtesy of respecting my time too.

My policies are in place to protect my business. If you cancel your session within my policy timeframe your deposit will be refunded to you.  In future ALL bookings will require a minimum 50% deposit in advance.  Full payment can be made if you prefer and I am happy to provide an invoice or receipt for this.

Please do consider all small businesses such as mine.  Missed appointments and late cancellations really do make a difference as to whether or not we can continue to run our businesses.
