2017 Holiday Boutique Was a Big Success! We closed out our Holiday Boutique on Saturday, December 23. We had almost 20 different craft artists, selling art, jewelry, wearable art, cards, can art and other assorted crafts, not to mention Christmas Ornaments and See's Candy! This year's Boutique was much more successful than last year, due to the extra days being open; some changes to the format; and a large sweet tooth! We sold three times as much See's Candy this year than last. We were located in Napa Junction Shopping Center, near the Round Table Pizza. We want to thank Napa Junction Retail for being our primary sponsor, allowing us to use their space. We also want to thank Jonette McNaughton, Patti Krueger and all the other ACAF members and artists who staffed the Boutique. This was our second biggest fund raiser for the year, after our Art Extravaganza. We look forward to finding a new home next year, and doing even better! |

| | ART PROJECT Member, Cherol Ockrassa, is working on an art project and needs your help. In her words: It will be a 3D piece and will be amazing but I need as many old tubes of lipstick as I can get. I need all colors, and will take them in every condition, from barely worn to totally used up. I can meet the lipstick donors at Starbucks just about anytime and day. If you want to help, please contact Cherol directly. | | |

YEAR END FINANCIAL REPORT As we close out the fiscal year, we are pleased to report that our financial condition improved for the third straight year. Revenues were about the same as last year, at $21,834. Expenses were up compared to last year, at $19,341, so the bottom line was an increase of $2,493 in income. This meant that our net worth continued to climb for the third year, to just over $12,000. This year's proceeds went to scholarships and a grant to Donaldson Elementary School. We teamed up with Helping Hands, run by Board Member, Arvind Nischal, who matched our grant. |
