Summer at War Horse Valley

Your August update

Bright has had puppies

Bright gave birth to five puppies last Friday 28th July, three girls and two boys.

Two grey and white puppies (one male/ one female) and three black and white puppies (one male/ two females).

She has been keen to be a Mum for some time, keeping a watchful eye on the litters of piglets and miniature pygmy goats.

The puppies will open their eyes between 2-4 weeks old and they will be ready to go to their new homes aged between 8-12 weeks. If they are anything like their Mum then they are set to be intelligent, hard working and friendly.

Other New Animals to Look Out For

Four baby ducklings and five piglets have recently arrived on the farm over the past month. We have also welcomed a male alpaca named Charlie, joining our three female alpacas. Hopefully we will have some baby alpacas in 11-12 months time (June-July 2018) which is the usual gestation period.
