On November 10, from 3-6pm, the annual Multi-Cultural Event will be at the Community Gym in American Canyon. This is a free event, sponsored by Arvind Nischal's Helping Hand Indo American and the Arts Foundation. There will be several performances reflecting our Filipino, Indian, and Latino cultures. This year we are working on special performances by a wider group of ethnic communities. Food and "snacks" will be provided. The Arts Foundation received a grant from the City of American Canyon to support arts and culture in American Canyon. This year we decided to focus on working with an existing program and build upon it. |

Come to our Fashion Show Fundraiser! Saturday, November 17, from 10-5, we'll be hosting a Fashion Show/Craft Sale at the new Boys & Girls Club Building in American Canyon. This event is a fundraiser for the Community Mosaic Art Project, funded in part by a grant from the Arts Council Napa Valley and many local supporters here at home. Board member, Gloria Fouts, will be organizing the fashion show, relying upon a unique inventory of clothing for all ages. Models will be displaying her creativity at 11, 2 and 4. While you're waiting (or hopefully, shopping!!), we'll have crafters with holiday and fashion-related items for sale. Light appetizers will be served. There is no fee to attend, but come with your wallet--we need to raise money to complete our Community Mosaic Art Project! For more information, go to our website, or email us at info@amcanart.org. |

Filipino American History Month After the devastating fires last year, the FilAm Club of American Canyon hosted their annual Celebration on October 6. The Arts Foundation was there, too, presenting FilAm President, Anthony Quicho, with our "Big Check" sponsoring the event. Congratulations--we all had a great time! |
