Happy New Year from the Xi Theta Chapter! |
A letter from our President: I would like to wish a you all a happy New Year, I hope 2018 brings you prosperity and joy! As I begin my journey as the 2018 President for Xi Theta I think of all the wonderful women I’ve been able to meet and grow with through this organization. How lucky are we to have thousands of sisters around the world that we can connect with so easily! Especially the ladies of Xi Theta, they have become some of my closest friends and my biggest support group. The hard work the new executive board and Cardinal Cabinet has displayed in just the first week of school starting is incredible. Xi Theta has plenty to look forward to in 2018! After wrapping up the Fall 2017 semester there is so much for our chapter to be proud of. We were able to grant two wishes for Make-a-Wish in just over two months and raised over $4,000 throughout the semester. We surpassed an overall chapter GPA of 3.401 for the Spring of 2017 semester to 3.420 for Fall of 2017! An astonishing accomplishment that shows Xi Thetas ability to continue to grow and implement a piece of our symphony, “scholarship before social obligation.” We connected with sisters through several new events including exercise classes, swing dancing, paint war, and a trip to the Apple Orchard. Xi Theta is thankful for the generations of sisters before us who have given us the opportunity to become more then sorority women. Through their leadership Xi Theta’s collegiate members can become something bigger then themselves and are driven to a life of flourishment. Thank you for your support, for your contributions to Make-a-Wish, for raising amazing women, and for taking the time to reflect on Xi Theta’s accomplishments. Loyally, Isabelle Masloski Consumer Affairs Major |

At the start of the semester, we held our 2nd Annual Chi O Campout. We did team building activities, prepared ourselves for Formal Recruitment, and enjoyed reconnecting with our sisters after a long summer apart. |
In September, we held a Scholarship Banquet to celebrate all of our sisters' academic achievements from the previous year. We enjoyed hearing a speaker, Rozhyer Aware, talk about her journey through education and remind us that with hard work and determination, anything is possible. |

Recruitment We welcomed home 29 new sisters this fall which grew our chapter to 89 members! Throughout the semester, our new sisters were able to attend events, meet their bigs, find new friendships, and learn about Chi Omega's history and traditions. They will initiate early on in the spring semester. |
