Hi Friend!

Thank you so much for following along with my blog on Settled In.  I am so excited to annouce a big and exciting change coming to my business. I will be continuing with my interior decorating business but I am shifting my main focus to the blogging world. I have fallen in love with it and am transitioning from hobby blogger to full-time blogger. Something I have learned from my time as an interior decorator is that many of us (myself included) are looking for great style in our homes that we can actually AFFORD. What we see in magazines and Pinterest is awesome, but how can the "normal folk" have this look in our own homes?? My goal is to bring you accessible decor ideas that you can incorporate in your home today!

What can you expect:

You can still expect to see my interior decorating projects, both from clients and around our own home, but you will also be seeing some new topics as well.  In addition to design and decor advice, I will be writing about family and lifestyle, and soon I will be incorporating posts on how to create a blog business of your own!

What else will change?

I will be increasing my blog posts from once to twice a week for now (on Tuesdays and Thursdays), with one post focusing on design and the second one focusing on lifestyle/parenting/blogging.  I would love to hear from you on any topics you would like to hear about specifially in these areas. Do you need help choosing a coffee table? Choosing paint colors? Finding activities for your kids to do this summer? Email me and let me know! This blog is for you, to help you in any way I can, as well as give you a healthy dose of positivity and encouragement!

Because I'm expanding my topics to include lifestyle and blogging, the name Settled In just doesn't represent this very well. I will be keeping www.settledinnj.com running for my interior design clients, but I am launching a new website and brand within the next few weeks and I need your help!! I have some ideas for a name but I want you loyal readers to be involved in my final decision. Vote using the link below and we'll see what you all decide on!
