Looking for fun things to do with kids in the St. Petersburg area this week? Here are some of the exciting events featured in our weekly schedule and on our calendar.
Start the week at Mirror Lake Library with a fun story time! S.P.A.R.K. Pre-Readers (ages 3-5) begins at 10:15am and S.P.A.R.K. Toddlers (ages 1-3) at 11am. At 1pm, introduce your preschoolers to the fundamentals of STEAM using stories and hands-on activities at Largo Public Library's Pre-K STEAM Station.
Finish your last-minute Easter shopping at The Posh Tot's Boutique Pop-up and Egg Hunt. Find Easter and spring clothing and gifts while your little ones hunt for eggs in Friendship Park in Redington Beach. The pop-up event will be open from 4pm until 7pm while egg hunts begin at 4:30pm and 5:30pm. Don't miss it!
It's Mother's Morning Out at Happy Healthy Spine! Come mix and mingle with other parents and kids while enjoying some fun- this month's special guest is Great Explorations. Want a FREE after-school snack? Celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day at Central Melt from 2pm until 4pm with free grilled cheese roll-ups!
Grab a coffee at Banyan Cafe and head over to Growing Up for a Mommy & Me Playdate. This free monthly event starts at 10am. Is your child a star? All teens ages 13 to 18 are eligible to participate in the 11th Annual Largo Teen Idol. The must-see vocal performance show begins at 7:30pm at Central Park Performing Arts Center.
Happy Easter! Grab Easter Sunday brunch at one of the many local restaurants serving this year. Try TradeWinds Island Resort for a buffet that can't be beat. If you still have room for more candy, hop on over to the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Wagon Wheel Flea Market starting at noon.
