The Colloquium

Fostering Art, Fostering People, Fostering Life

April 2017 Issue

Dear Frerinds,

IMPROV! This is our trending theme. This year we attempt to use improvisation as a community building tool in order to awaken important parts of the human brain and open up pathways to creativity and an improved understanding of who we are. We are launching the newly funded community project called CINDI (Creative Intergroup Narrative Drama Initaitive) on Saturday, April 22, at Dunbar Community Centre (see more info below). I’m not going to try and impress you with a long drawn out description of the project. So come out and experience a brief moment of great possibility for yourself! <img height="22" src="https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5e9922_bbb9a23c29c9407f8a31e2fc45adead6.png_256" width="22">

Speaking of a brief moment, the cherry blossoms are finally blooming here in Vancouver. Enjoy them on improvisation!

Community Narrative

We strive to attain our community narrative and belive that community is built through the work of countless community volunteers, civic associations, small businesses, street-level non profits, and neighborly kindness. We tell these stories so that others might be inspired to act.
