Operation Wedding had just won the GLOBE AWARD at the Around Film Festival for March 2017 competition! |

Every month they present 11 awards for different categories. At the end of the year, the Jury will decide who is "the best of the best" genre of the 12 winners of each category. "The best of the best" films will be shown at the live screening events of the festival in: Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam & Barcelona, 2018 |

More great news: Operation Wedding was accepted to The Israel National School Cultural Program (Sal Tarbut) for grades 10-12! Now that our documentary has been accepted, we have to draw attention to Israeli schools to Operation Wedding – in order for the film to be shown during the new national holiday in October – “Aliya Day” which will be part of Aliya week this year in Israel and, therefore, the best time to screen Operation Wedding. |

I was very touched this week to receive an email from a Be'er Sheva high school, telling us they have been studying the history of Operation Wedding and how much they would like to see the film. They even made us a new flyer which we love! My mother and I will answer their questions on Skype after the screening. |

ANOTHER NEW YORK CITY SCREENING THIS MAY? In May I'll be touring the film again in US and Canada. But one of the screenings didn't work out - the NY screening... I received many additional requests for the screening of Operation Wedding in New York. I will be in NY for two days, May 10th and May 11th. Thanks to new disribution donors via Jewcer campaign we: * Reached 72,799 trailer views on Facebook * Printed new posters and flyers to promote upcoming screenings * Applied to 40 international film festivals We hope to get into as many festivals as possible. Film festivals normally only show new films. Operation Wedding was released a few months ago - the clock is ticking... |
