Do you plan to move more in the New Year? Do you plan to be more attentive to the here and now? We do, too. Join us every Monday morning at 10 for a 45-minute mindful walk through our historic and beautiful Susan B. Anthony neighborhood. Unless the weather is extremely inclement, we'll meet at the shop, and walk mindfully together. |

Ever pick up a piece of fabric that's so beautiful to touch and look at, but wonder what on earth to make with it? Take a tour of the fabrics available at our shop, guided by a professional who will explain their characteristics. Learn about natural and synthetic fabrics, weaves, weights and the way fabric drapes, and why all of these characteristics are important. Unlock your design potential through understanding how fabric works! Wednesday, January 4, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. |

The same principles hold true with yarn. "I love it! But what can I do with it?" We will take you on a guided tour of the yarn varieties we have available. Learn the differences between natural and synthetic fibers, yarn weights, twists and plies, and the ways different yarns behave, and why all of that is important when considering what to knit, crochet, or weave. Unlock your design potential by learning how yarn works! Thursday, January 5, 4 to 6 p.m. |

Don't see Measure Up!/Fit It on our calendar? We still offer it! If you wish your clothing fit you better than it does, or if you want to make garments to your unique shape, the first step is to obtain accurate measurements of your body. Georgia will provide you with a map of your body, and will help you understand how to use it when purchasing patterns, fabrics and yarns. Call 585-328-2642 or email info@sewgreenrochester.org, and make an appointment with her today! |

The date of our fundraiser tea and silent auction has changed. We will not be meeting January 28. Please watch this space for news of when and where it will be in the new year. Thank you! |
