God’s Divine Purpose
Sara Mason is looking for love and commitment. Divorced, but ready to commit to a nice Christian man who will treat her with love and respect, unlike her ex-husband who wants her back. She is overwhelmed by her feelings for Daniel; he is a man she cannot resist. But Daniel is not a Christian and Sara wants marriage. Daniel doesn’t. Commitment is not on his list of priorities and he wants more than she is willing to give.
Daniel is a bachelor used to having his pick of women, but he is somehow drawn to Sara in a way that has him questioning his ideals. His motto—women can’t be trusted. Sara wants friendship, he doesn’t. Can he trust her? She comes with baggage that he normally doesn’t get involved in—a daughter and an ex-husband. More than his busy lifestyle has time for. Besides, after the pain of his first love why open himself up to further misery?
Faced with the prospect of making a choice for God and finally coming to terms with a spirituality that has astounded him for years. Daniel has to put his trust in God and allow him to heal his hurts. Even if it means going against everything he has ever known before.

Excerpt from Committed To Love
Sara wants love and marriage. Daniel doesn’t. Commitment is not on his list of priorities, but somehow he is drawn to her, and he wants more than she is willing to give.
Sara watched her best friend Rachel dancing with her new husband, David. She couldn’t help but be a little envious as she watched them; the love between them was evident as they swayed to the music on the dance floor. Sara had been praying for a husband for so long that she wondered if God had forgotten her—or maybe this was it for her. Maybe she would never find love again.
She sighed, suppressing a deep need inside. Only one man held her attention, and her gaze drifted to him. He was standing by the bar with a drink in his hand. He was the most beautiful man she had ever seen. No, he was the second most beautiful man she had ever seen. He was David’s twin—they were identical, two men who were positively divine. Rachel was a blessed woman.
Sara had known Daniel for two months now, and he fascinated her. He was a confirmed bachelor and intended on staying that way. He’d asked her out many times, but she never took him seriously, as she was one of a long list of women he pursued. So they’d remained friends, and she enjoyed just looking at him as she did now. Gorgeous green eyes, perfect nose, a moustache that accentuated his full lips and a short, neatly trimmed beard that shadowed his face. He was perfect, but a man she could not have.
She made her way to him, her dress flowing around her, clinging to her curves; as maid of honour, her dress matched the bride’s—cool ivory satin, so perfect for the hot Caribbean weather. She stood beside him and followed his gaze as he watched his brother and his now sister-in-law kiss each other lovingly. Rachel reached up and caressed her husband’s face and laughed at something David whispered in her ear.
“The one that got away, huh?” Sara asked, giving Daniel a knowing look. He tore his gaze away for a moment, and she saw something flicker in his eyes, but then it was gone, and she didn’t quite work out what it was.
“What would make you say a thing like that, Sara?”
“Because I believe you’re secretly in love with Rachel.” She smiled, knowing it was the truth, not really expecting an answer. “Let me buy you a drink so you can drown your sorrows,” she teased.
“It’s an open bar, Sara.” He smiled with her.
“Well, the thought was there. I’m a kind-hearted lass.” She loved to tease him. “What are you having?”
“Fruit juice—the perfect tipple to drown my sorrows in.”
She looked at him. Was he finally admitting that he had a thing for Rachel?
“No, I’m not admitting to anything. Get that thought out of your head.”
She chuckled and busied herself with ordering their drinks. As she turned away, she could feel the heat of his gaze on her. Her dress was backless, with crisscross straps; she knew what would come next before she turned to him.
“You’re a very beautiful woman, Sara. When are you going to stop fighting this thing between us?”
She turned to face him again, handing him his drink. “What thing? We don’t have a thing.” She sipped from her juice and avoided his eyes. His eyes travelled over her body, and his slow perusal felt like a caress. Her heart began to race. “Will you stop…” She met his gaze and saw amusement dance in his eyes, desire within their depths.
He leaned in close and whispered in her ear, and she felt the brush of his breath against the nape of her neck. “I don’t want to stop. You outshine every woman here.”
She stepped away from him, taking in a breath as butterflies fluttered in her stomach. She wondered if he had this effect on every woman he pursued. He made her weak, a temptation she could not afford to entertain. “Is that a line you use often?”
“Sara…stop fighting this.”
His eyes darkened; they were almost blue, beautiful, holding her captive. She forced herself to look away, anywhere but in his incredibly beautiful green, blue, sometimes grey eyes. Then she said the words that she knew would keep him at bay, almost guaranteed; “If I didn’t know better, Daniel, I would think that you were falling in love with me.” His whole persona changed in response. He straightened and looked away from her. It works every time.
“What’s love got to do with it?”
She laughed and sang a note from the Tina Turner song. He laughed with her, shaking his head.
“You are so predictable, Daniel. You really ought to get over this thing you have against love and marriage.”
“I have nothing against it. It’s just not for me. I prefer other pursuits.”
