The Pears Program for Global Innovation is organising the first ever India Israel Affordable Healthcare Hackathon, Med4Dev, tackling the most pressing healthcare challenges facing poor people in India. The event will bring together 600 participants including programmers, engineers, designers, health practitioners and entrepreneurs simultaneously in four major cities Tel Aviv, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore to develop innovative ideas and prototype solutions (hardware and software) to address healthcare challenges of lower-middle income communities in India.
