McKamy Robotics December Student Meeting!

 

Last nights Student Newsletter had an error on the actual date of our December monthly student meeting this week....sorry!

 

It is this Thursday, December 10th from 4:15pm - 5:30pm in the McKamy Library. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. The students will be honoring Principal Taggart...see November Newsletter from last night with more details,

McKamy VEX Nothing But Net 2/6/16 Committee!!

 

 

As you know McKamy Robotics is hosting a Middle School only VEX Nothing But Net Competition on Saturday, February 6th here at McKamy with the set-up on Friday after school on February 5th..

 

There will be opportunities for all families to volunteer...more to come on that via the MRC website and Shout Outs...so stay tuned!

 

We are having our first competition committee planning meeting at McKamy in the Robotics Lab today Tuesday, December 8th from 11:30am - 1:30pm.  Please arrive about 11:20am to get your visitors badge in the office. 

 

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED....We would love to have your input, so please join us if you can or let us know you are interested in attending future McKamy Nothing But Net Committee meetings by sending an e-mail to mckayrobotics@gmail.com.

  

 

McKamy TSA Committee!!

 

 

As you read in the November Student Newsletter we have some wonderful additional STEM opportunities for our students individually with TSA (Technology Student Association).

 

We need parent volunteers to help do some research and support students in the turning in of their entries due Febraury 22nd for the Regional TSA Competition March 5th. 

 

We are having our first McKamy TSA committee planning meeting at McKamy in the Robotics Lab on Thursday, December 10th from 10am - Noon.  Please arrive about 9:50am to get your visitors badge in the office. 

 

We need support with 91 students!  Please join us if you can or let us know you are interested in attending TSA Committee meetings in the future by sending an e-mail to mckayrobotics@gmail.com.

We have been successful already in being approved as a 501(c)3 with Verizon who will match your $100 membership (returning students) or $175 membership and joining fee for new students!  We are also now registered wtih Benevity Charities who supports many of the Fortune 500 companies.

 

We have 91 members....help us get connected by nominating us and we will take care of all the paperwork!
