I have to admit, one of my favorite TV shows has to be The Big Bang Theory
The nerdy "geekiness" just gets me laughing. If you’ve never seen it, one of the key characters is Sheldon; a socially awkward, genius physicist. Across the hall lives his roommate’s girlfriend, Penny. Whenever Sheldon needs something he’ll walk over to her door and proceed without a pause, “[knock, knock, knock] Penny, [knock, knock, knock] Penny, [knock, knock, knock] Penny!” She always opens the door with a smile, listens to his request and helps him with what he needs
It reminds me of several verses I’ve been reading over-and-over this past week about How God responds to our prayers. "Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion... be persistent in your prayers" (Ephesians 6:18). “Keep on asking, and you will receive. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened" (Matthew 7:7).
