We believe no community is too remote to help

The Praesens Foundation invests in decentralizing and increasing access to quality health services among the medically underserved populations and builds community-based solutions for better global health security.

A fully equipped Mobile Lab designed by the Praesens Foundation has been successfully deployed in Senegal in collaboration with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar for extensive field evaluation over a period of 8 months.

With extensive training and knowledge sharing, this initiative perfectly illustrates that by investing in local capacity building efforts, it enables a country to take local ownership of potential future outbreak responses and to foster epidemic surveillance.

As we speak, our team is dealing with a Dengue Outbreak in Touba, where over 2 million people gathered this weekend for the annual religious pilgrimage.

Help us reach more miles & smiles!

With our Mobile Lab on the frontline, we need your help to be able to run more field missions, collect more samples and deliver better diagnostic results to the rural communities in Senegal.

We need partners that can help us scale this country-level initiative across the African continent to pave the way  for greater health autonomy.

We are driven by passion and have great ambitions but we need your support to make our efforts go even further.

Investing in sustainable, accessible, quality primary care is key to addressing Africa’s most pressing healthcare issues and radically improving the lives of people living on the African continent and is now firmly within reach!
