Greetings All! Yes, it is true! I have returned to NYC. I cannot believe that I have been gone 3 ½ years. Wow! It did not feel as if I have been away for so long. And to answer everyone’s question, YES I will be returning to Africa (very soon). As some of you know, I have been working non-stop for the past two years and I just wanted to take the time to give you all a quick update as to what I have been up to thus far in 2017. I just finished an artist residency at Cooper Union a couple of weeks ago. Please, please don’t be angry with me for not making an announcement. The past 2 months was just hectic (really it was). The residency was fantastic. Much love and appreciation to those who were able to attend the open studio. It was wonderful to see you. |

I have spent the better part of this year working in Cotonou, Benin in order to develop a new direction with my work. The image above is from a current exhibition at Fondation Clément in Martinique. The exhibition, (In)visibilité Ostentatoire, features contemporary Haitian artists. The show will close on August 31st. Prior to the residency, I made a quick stop in South Africa. My works were featured in the group exhibition, What Do They Call Me, at Gallery MOMO in Johannesburg. I also exhibited with Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery (London) at Volta-Basel art fair in June. |

My digital collages will soon be available as archival prints. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to own a limited edition artwork (like the one above at a very affordable price). I am ecstatic that Offset Culture reached out to me for this project. Do check them out! |
