Biggest Little Treasure Hunt
On August 5th, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation transformed Idlewild Park into a treasure hunting haven. Over 350 treasure hunters on 78 teams registered and participated in our hunt, and over 600 festival goers stopped by the vendor village, the craft beer garden, and enjoyed fantastic music by the Sierra Sweethearts. 
 
Without our hardworking volunteers and our generous sponsors including Whitney Peak Hotel, NV Energy, Break Through Reno, Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance, and the City of Reno, none of this would have been possible. We look forward to raising even more citizens' awareness and appreciation of our parks next year!

TMPF TALKS: 
Truckee Meadows History & Ethnobotany
Join us on Monday, August 14th at the California Building in Idlewild Park for our next TMPF Talks.
 
The subject of the evening will be Truckee Meadows History & Ethnobotany!  Come hear about the history of the Truckee Meadows and uses of natural resources, animals, and plants native to the Truckee Meadows.
 
All TMPF Talks are free and open to the public.

Tails On The Trails
Registration is open for the 1st Annual Tails On The Trails. Sign up now for Nevada's only dog-friendly trail race!  
 
Tails On The Trails gives you three timed trail options - the 10K course, the 5K course, or the 1 Mile Lazy Dog Jog.
 
These three world-class races will be held on October 7th, 2017 at Hidden Valley Regional Park in Reno, Nevada.

Biggest Little Dog Park
 
Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation is partnering with the Biggest Little Dog Park Coalition and the City of Reno to help revitalize the Re-trac in downtown Reno. The City has kindly budgeted $75,000 to this park, but we still need to raise $125,000 to make this park a reality. Please consider making a donation to this grassroots effort by visiting our Biggest Little Dog Park website.
