Happy Presidents' Day! Pinellas County Schools are closed today. Check out our list of fun day camps for kids here. Don't forget, public libraries and other facilities will also be closed today.

Make some music at NoiseMakers' Punkertown from 10am until 11am. This open-format music class is just $5 per family. After school, join makeme for the start of another session of Meet the Masters, an art enrichment class for grades K-5. This week's featured artist is Louise Nevelson.

Wednesday, February 22
 
Make it a morning at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library! Preschool Reading Adventures (ages 3-5) begins at 10am and Music in Motion (ages 2-5) at 11am. Later, another session of Artists & Authors starts at makeme. Children ages 4 through grade 3 can create arts and craft projects related to a book's theme or illustration style. This week's book is Secret Pizza Party.

Thursday, February 23
 
Introduce your preschooler to the wonders of nature at Wee-Time at Weedon starting at 10:30am. This activity is free but registration closes 24 hours in advance. At 3:30pm, celebrate Dr. Seuss Day early with Dr. Seuss Kids Yoga at Gulfport Public Library. Bee Content Yoga will be on hand to instruct kids ages 5 to 10 at this free event.

Don't miss Blessed Sacrament Catholic School's Annual Carnival! The carnival runs from Thursday through Sunday and features midway rides, games, raffles, food, beer garden and live entertainment. Pre-sale discounts and special offers are available online until Thursday, February 23. Cash only and regular prices on site.

Sunday, February 26
 
All kids and their caregivers are invited to join the German American Society of Pinellas County at Kinderfasching 2017. This children's party will feature music, dancing, face painting, costume contest, raffles and crafts. There will be a nominal cover charge and food and drinks available for purchase.
