Mark, Kim and Breanna Gardner Reaching Namibia/Southern Africa/The World! |

HELPING CHILDREN’S PASTORS Shabani Niyonkuru is a refugee from Burundi who lost many in his family from the killing there. He is also the children’s pastor for Highlands Assembly of God in Windhoek. |

They were going through a rough time financially over the year, and so we decided to restock their children’s ministry supply closet, as well as to bless them personally and restock their kitchen cabinets so they could have a wonderful Christmas time with family. To all those who gave so generously this year and allowed us to bless them, THANKS! |

Christmas Dresses A BIG THANKS to Mrs. Peggy Spong who made Christmas dresses for so many little girls here in Namibia. (Remember, the wintertime in USA is summertime here in Namibia) These are girls from the Nama tribe. On our website you will find pictures of the little Ovambo girls with their dresses. |

Women’s Ministry Conferences & Leading Worship The Lord has really opened some amazing doors for Kim and she is now organizing Women’s Ministry Conferences at the coast, and is a key speaker, drawing women from many different churches and backgrounds. When she is not involved in these conferences, she’s leading worship here at the coast, and God has really used her to help create an atmosphere where we experience wonderful and powerful manifestations of the Holy Spirit. |

This last conference Kim did, entitled; “Where The Spirit of the Lord Is,” was evangelistic in nature & challenged each lady to go out and bring a non-churched friend or neighbour to the Conference, and as you can see it was well attended and there was great ministry time! |

Principles of Life I was able to join a group of A/G missionaries from all over Africa who specialize in children’s ministries and in just one week we wrote a full year’s worth of curriculum for Sunday School/Children’s Church groups that target children from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and use resources that can be found in just about any 2nd or 3rd world setting. This is going to be a great resource for the churches not only in Africa, but other regions as well. The missionaries from Europe, Asia, and Latin America are also participating in their respective regions and when finished we will have four years worth of Spirit Led, multicultural Children’s Church/SS materials available at very low cost for children’s discipleship across the world! This is great! |

Church Planting Development A couple weeks ago I went up to Rundu to preach and help a Romanian Missionary Family (the Maghiars) move down to the coast from Nkurenkuru. While there I met with the Angolan A/G leadership from across the Kavango River to help form a church planting partnership with several Kwangali pastors who want to plant a church near Rundu. It’s been several years since any A/G churches were planted here in Namibia and this effort both encourages missions on the part of the Angolans, and forward momentum in evangelism for Namibia. |

Prayer Requests We are preparing to return to the USA for furlough and so I have several very real prayer needs. Great Big Gobs of God’s Grace for Thousands of Miles of travel. - February - Travel to South Africa for meeting with Assemblies of God leaders from all over Africa.
- March - Travels all over Namibia as we try to visit the churches before heading back to USA
- April - We travel to the USA for furlough.
Outpouring of the Holy Spirit - For the Women’s Conference that Kim is leading March 10th – 12th
- For the Children’s Outreaches that I am coordinating on Saturdays with youth groups
- For the Churches ministering in Schools initiative that we are spearheading on the coast
- For the church planting class I will be teaching in March, “Starting New Churches”
Our Work Permit Situation: As of the writing of this newsletter we still do not have permission to return to this country after our furlough. If we are to return to Namibia after furlough in 2018 we need to hear back from the government before the end of February. |
