Snow time equals play time! Even though we don't take much of a break from riding, training or hanging out with the horses, winter does give us little bit of a breather between shows and other events. Scroll down to see upcoming winter events taking place for 2017. |

OTTB Spotlight: Last Caper Caper, and 5 others, were brought to the attention of authorities by a concerned citizen. A local rescue was involved in finding adoptive homes for the horses once were they were removed from their poor situation. Caper's last race was in 2011 and then his history became unknown until he was found emancipated and living in poor conditions. His eyes, however, still showed that he had hope. Upon learning about Caper, we were off to pick him up 48 hours later. Caper is an all around superstar as he now shows off his talents in the show ring and on the cross country course. His love of humans has never faltered, even after being neglected, as he is the first to greet whomever comes to the barn and always wants a shoulder to rub on. Treats are pretty good too. |
