John Zells will join us Virtually to talk with us about his
"Journey with Parkinson's disease and Deep Brain Stimulation."
John Zells was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Diseases (PD) at the age of 32 and is a recent recipient of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery. John serves on the Board of the Parkinson’s Assoc. of Florida and frequently serves as guest speaker and social media administrator sharing "My Journey with Parkinson's" and advocating for DBS surgery as a compelling alternative for movement disorders. John is an experienced ambassador with a demonstrated history of advocacy and patient enlistment in the DBS space.
Alaine Keebaugh PhD with Boston Scientific will be with us In-person to answer questions about Deep Brain Stimulation.
A signed copy of the new book Living with Parkinson's Disease by Dr. Okun will be awarded to someone who attends our 2nd Tuesday Parkinson's Support Group meeting Tuesday 9/8/20.
