Scilla's Service
We were really thankful and grateful to God for looking after Maria this week which meant that todays service was taken by Scilla afterall, praise be to God for His mercy and healing! Scilla gave her sermon about Peter the rock and explained to us all that the real rock was Jesus, He was the stone that the Church was built upon. We used a lot of videos about Jesus and his relationship with his key disciple Peter which we upload onto our YouTube channel so you can view them for yourselves. But here is the video I took of Scilla's service so you can view her action here... youtube.com/watch?v=8gtACnNj2Tc
Prayers
Maria and Scilla ~ We continue to pray for both these wonderful ladies as Maria recovers from her ordeal and Scilla continues to support her visiting her in the Brompton London.
Eileen ~ We are still praying for Graham's friend Eileen who had a fall and is recovering from it.
Shim ~ Rachel asked that we pray for her friend Shim who is still in recovery after her second breakdown and is needing daily support from her friends to make the days easier, as she does not know God fully enough yet.
Rachel ~ Susie asked that Rachel be in our prayers as she helps Shim.
*Scilla added to all our prayers by appealing to God for his blessing upon us and asked us to continue to remember the Nigerian girl, Leah Sharibu, who is still been kept hostage in Nigeria. You can find out more about this girls horrendous and difficult story here usatoday.com/story/news/world/2018/03/27/schoolgirl-kidnapped-boko-haram-still-held-christian/460554002/*
