April Newsletter

A word from our director...

What an amazing month we had here at the George Werden Buck Boys & Girls Club of Joliet!

First and foremost, I want to thank our Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers, Donors, and Benefactors for all of your support now and into the future. It is hard to believe that we are almost at the half way point of 2017, but that also means that our 2017 Summer Session will be starting soon. We will be running our Summer Session from June 12th-August 11th. We will be open M-F from the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm.

We offer the only youth dedicated swimming pool on the east side of Joliet, along with various enrichment activities, games, mentoring, athletic leagues, and much more. We also provide two healthy meals per day at no charge. We are proud to offer all of these great services for a nominal one time fee of only $30.00 per child. The Club is a SAFE place for children to learn and grow, particularly during the busy Summer months when school is not in session.

As I often say, the Club's doors change lives for young people that need the most help in our community. Our staff is honored that many of these youth call the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet, home.

Thank you for all of your support and I look forward to connecting with you again next month.
